Michael J. Levitt – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Levitt founded Stone Tower Capital LLC (“STC”) in 2001. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of STC and the development of the firm’s investment philosophies. Previously, Mr. Levitt worked as a partner in the New York office of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Incorporated. Prior thereto, Mr. Levitt served as the Co-Head of the Investment Banking Division of Smith Barney Inc. Mr. Levitt began his investment banking career at, and ultimately served as a Managing Director of, Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. Mr. Levitt has a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Levitt serves on the University's Investment Advisory Board.

Jonathan I. Berger – Chief Investment Officer and President
Mr. Berger is in charge of day-to-day management of the Firm with oversight of all investment and non-investment operations and chairs all of the Firm’s investment committees. Previously, he was a Co-Founder and Partner of Pegasus Capital Advisors L.P. Prior to Pegasus, Mr. Berger was a Vice President in the High Yield and Distressed Securities Group at UBS Securities LLC (“UBS”). Prior thereto, he was a Principal at Rosecliff, Inc., a middle-market private equity fund. Prior thereto, Mr. Berger was an Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group at Salomon Brothers Inc. Mr. Berger holds a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Steven J. Gilbert – Vice Chairman
Steven J. Gilbert joined Stone Tower in 2010. He is Chairman of the Board of Gilbert Global Equity Partners, L.P., Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of MidOcean Capital Partners, Senior Advisor to Continental Grain, and Chairman of CPM Holdings, Inc. From 2005 to 2008, he was Chairman of SUN Capital Partners (USA). From 1992 to 1997 he was the Founder and Managing General Partner of Soros Capital L.P., the principal venture capital and leveraged transaction entity of the Quantum Group of Funds, and a principal Advisor to Quantum Industrial Holdings Ltd. From 1988 through 1992 he was the Managing Director of Commonwealth Capital Partners, L.P. From 1984 to 1988, Mr. Gilbert was the founder and Managing General Partner of Chemical Venture Partners (the predecessor to J. P. Morgan Capital Partners). Mr. Gilbert was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1970 and practiced law at Goodwin Procter & Hoar in Boston, MA. Mr. Gilbert has 40 years of experience in private equity investing, investment banking and law.

Steven Kotler – Vice Chairman
Mr. Kotler joined Stone Tower in 2010. Mr. Kotler, for 25 years, was with the investment banking firm of Schroder & Co. and its predecessor firm, Wertheim & Co., where he served in various executive capacities including Chief Executive Officer & President; and, Global Head of Investment and Merchant Banking. Mr. Kotler has served on the Board of Directors of numerous public and private companies. Mr. Kotler is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and, from 1999 - 2002, was Council President of The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC. Mr. Kotler has previously served as a Governor of the American Stock Exchange, The New York City Partnership and Chamber of Commerce's Infrastructure and Housing Task Force, The Board of Trustees of Columbia Preparatory School, and the Board of Overseers of the California Institute of the Arts.

Dana M. W. Carey – Partner and Co-Head of Special Situations
Mr. Carey is responsible for overseeing STC’s special situations investments. Prior to joining Stone Tower, Mr. Carey worked for Shelter Capital Partners and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Mr. Carey holds a B.A. from Tufts University and a M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.

Jeffrey S. Deutschman – Partner and Head of Private Debt
Mr. Deutschman is responsible for overseeing STC’s investments in private middle market credit investments. Mr. Deutschman was a Co-Founder of Aurora Capital in Los Angeles and a Co-Founder of Crown Capital in New York before joining Stone Tower in 2006. He has spent his entire thirty year career in the private equity and turnaround business, starting his career with Grisanti & Galef/The Spectrum Group. Mr. Deutschman graduated with a B.A. from Columbia University, and earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from UCLA.

W. Anthony Edson – Partner and Head of Business Development
Mr. Edson co-founded STC in 2001. He is primarily responsible for managing the firm's relationships with its global investor base and the implementation of its strategic initiatives. Previously, Mr. Edson was an executive with Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst in the firm's New York and London offices. Prior thereto, Mr. Edson worked in the Merger, Acquisition and Restructuring Department of Morgan Stanley & Co. Mr. Edson received a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Morehouse College.

James E. Galowski – Partner and Head of Structured Credit
Mr. Galowski is responsible for overseeing STC’s investment activities in structured credit. Previously, Mr. Galowski was with WestLB since 1990 in New York, London and Singapore. He was a Managing Director and served on the Board and Executive Committee of WestLB Asset Management (U.S.) LLC, which ultimately became Brightwater Capital Management. Prior to WestLB, Mr. Galowski was with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Mr. Galowski holds a B.S. in Finance from St. John’s University and an M.B.A. from Fordham University’s School of Business.

William J. Sheoris – Partner and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Sheoris is one of the original founders of STC in 2001. He is responsible for all administrative, compliance and reporting activities of STC, as well as advising on the investment activities of the firm. Previously, Mr. Sheoris was a general partner of a venture capital fund and a venture capital fund-of-funds. Prior thereto, Mr. Sheoris was the Manager of Finance for Barnes & Noble, Inc., where he participated in all aspects of financial and treasury management. Prior to joining Barnes & Noble, Mr. Sheoris worked for Smith Barney Inc. in the Equity Capital Markets Group. Mr. Sheoris has a B.S. in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.

Gregory M. Stover – Partner and Head of Fixed Income
Mr. Stover is responsible for analyzing, monitoring and overseeing STC’s investment activities in its corporate fixed income portfolios. Previously, he was with Tyco Capital and its predecessor companies including The CIT Group, Inc. since 1994. Mr. Stover was a founding member of Tyco Capital's Merchant Banking and CIT's Private Equity Sponsor Groups. Prior thereto, Mr. Stover spent over ten years with Chase Manhattan Bank's corporate finance group. Mr. Stover holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Joseph M. Zupan – Partner and Co-Head of Special Situations
Mr. Zupan is responsible for overseeing STC’s special situations investments. Prior to joining Stone Tower, Mr. Zupan worked for Citigroup Investment Inc.’s proprietary credit hedge fund and Indosuez Capital’s secured debt, mezzanine and middle market private equity funds. Mr. Zupan holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Alexander T.D. Clarke – Portfolio Manager
Mr. Clarke is responsible for analyzing, monitoring and overseeing STC’s investment positions in the healthcare, education and shipping sectors.  Previously, he was a founding member and Portfolio Manager of Citadel Hill Advisors LLC, a credit-based asset management firm formed by Scotia Capital.  Prior thereto, Mr. Clarke spent eight years in Scotia Capital’s Global Risk Management division where he was a Managing Director in the Loan Workout Group.  Prior to joining Global Risk Management, Mr. Clarke worked in Scotia Capital’s Corporate Banking division.  Mr. Clarke holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from Queen’s University of Kingston, Ontario.

Robert M. Coors – Portfolio Manager
Mr. Coors’s primary focus is the analysis and investment in cash and synthetic CLOs and CDOs across various STC funds. Previously, Mr. Coors was with WestLB. Prior thereto, Mr. Coors held a senior management position with Assured Guaranty.  Prior to Assured Guaranty, Mr. Coors worked for Capital Re and was responsible for the firm’s reinsurance and corporate finance activities.  Previously, Mr. Coors was employed at both Merrill Lynch and Bankers Trust. Prior to these roles, Mr. Coors was a quantitative analyst with Drexel Burnham Lambert and started his career as a software engineer at Grumman Aerospace. Mr. Coors holds a B.S. in Quantitative Analysis from St. John’s University and a M.B.A. from Hofstra University’s School of Business. 

Olga Dadamatova – Portfolio Manager
Ms. Dadamatova's primary focus is the credit analysis and surveillance of RMBS and ABS investments.  Previously, she was with Brightwater Capital Management as a member of the Credit and Surveillance Team.  Prior thereto, Ms. Dadamatova was with Financial Guaranty Insurance Company as a senior credit analyst in the Structured Finance Group.  Prior to Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, Ms. Dadamatova worked at Moody’s Investors Service in the RMBS Group.  She holds a M.S. in Finance from Bernard Baruch College and a B.S. in Accounting from Hunter College with Cum Laude.

Aleksey V. Leksanov – Portfolio Manager
Mr. Leksanov is the risk manager for the Structured Credit Recovery Fund, as well as being responsible for creating quantitative models for structural analysis and financial engineering of STC’s ABS portfolios.  Previously, Mr. Leksanov was a Vice President at Invicta Advisors LLC.  Prior thereto, Mr. Leksanov was a Director in WestLB's product development team.  Prior to his investment career, Mr. Leksanov was as a senior software engineer at Hughes Network Systems.  He holds a Doctorate degree in Physics from Pennsylvania State University and B.Sc. degree in Physics and Mathematics from St. Petersburg State Technical University (Russia).  Mr. Leksanov is a Certified Financial Risk Manager.

David C. McLaughlin – Portfolio Manager and Head Trader
Mr. McLaughlin is responsible for trading across the capital structure. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Scotia Capital.  Prior to Scotia Capital, Mr. McLaughlin managed a leveraged loan portfolio at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi.  Prior thereto, Mr. McLaughlin worked at The Chase Manhattan Bank in their middle market lending team, and completed the Corporate Finance/Credit Training program.  Mr. McLaughlin holds a B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University.

Charles Pettinato – Portfolio Manager
Mr. Pettinato's primary focus is the credit analysis and surveillance of STC’s RMBS, CDO and ABS investments.  Previously, Mr. Pettinato was a Portfolio Manager for Brightwater Capital Management LLC, a division of WestLB Asset Management. Prior thereto, Mr. Pettinato was in the Financial Control group of WestLB.  Prior to WestLB, Mr. Pettinato held various accounting and middle office roles at JP Morgan.  Mr. Pettinato holds a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University.  

David Saitowitz – Portfolio Manager
Mr. Saitowitz is responsible for analyzing and monitoring STC's investment positions in the cable, telecommunications and broadcasting sectors.  Previously, Mr. Saitowitz was with JPMorgan Chase & Co. where he was responsible for analyzing and evaluating the bank's corporate loan portfolio.  Prior thereto, he was in the Syndicated and Leveraged Finance group.  Mr. Saitowitz holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
